Canadian National Anthem.....

Yeah I think we should vote to have our anthem dumbed down.

Lets start by including "god" in it somewhere. On second thought lets add something about bombs, war and being "brave". Cause we're soldiers.

In all seriousness though, I never thought a lot of it but that doesn't mean it doesn't make me proud when I hear it at a sporting event or elsewhere.

Course, if I had my pick I'd choose the Soviet anthem any day of the week.

I like Canada's anthem. Its simple, easy to remember and uplifting.

America's is about dying and stuff blowing up.

And that can't honestly be Australias anthem...because if it is...wow.

It's a regular Hit if you compare it with the Dutch anthem

Alltough the fact that it dates back to 1568 redeems it a bit
 
Canada's national anthem is pretty cool.

And some of you are wussy asshats, the American national anthem is the best out there, bar none.

I like the Canadian anthem, but of course i'm bias since i grew up singing and listening to it. But i don't know what's the hate, the tune is good, and so are the lyrics, so what's wrong with it?

I really like the American anthem as well, although it is a bit violent, but the message is good.
 
Ive heard many anthems that sound a lot worse. But I don't know what they're saying though
Canada's I think is pretty good for an anthem.
US is good, but I think there are other songs that could be better.

😕 where are you from? both the US and canadian anthems include references to god.

i'm not big on canada's. the US's is good, but i still think replacing it with "america, the beautiful" would be better.
