i'd say we yanks march up and take back our loaner tank, steal their snipers, and declare 51st state!! :p
You guys tried that 192 years ago and look what happened:

your whitehouse and all US government building in Washington DC were burn to the ground.

Yes, but this time the British are not the superpower of the world and won't be burning down the White House. The US could probably take out Canada within a few days at the most.

I remember this discussion from a few weeks ago.

18 months ago it was about how fast you could subdue Iraq. That's working out real good so far:(

The Iraqi government and armed forces crumbled very quickly. Canada probably wouldn't last long. I would expect a Canadian insurgence, but the mounties will be bribed and they will keep their own brethren in line.

Now....just imagine the panties all around the world wadding if Bush had said something like this about the Canadian PM.

Wtf? That doesn't even make sense. Where did the Canadian PM call Americans idiots? It was just some hack of an MP. And a pathetic one at that.

ZOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Know what that was?

The point of my post zooming over your head at Mach 2

What does Bush or the Canadian PM have to do with anything? Explain it to me then, o master.
You should change your user name to depleted uranium.

Just as I thought. You have no point, just lame abuse.
If you can't figure it out I'm not going to explain it to you. Go on....try reeeeeeeeaaaaaaal hard and I bet you can figure it out.

Would you like a shovel to help dig that hole you're making for yourself?
A shovel? Hmmm...that might come in handy at the funeral for your brain.

lol, maybe by that time you would've figured out IT WAS A MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT NOT A PRIME MINISTER you dyslexic bastard.

If that happened then Canada would probably be taken out even faster. There would possibly be indiscriminate destruction of Canada. No, it's sad for me to say it but Canadan would have no chance in hell. I'm not even sure why anyone is questioning it as we're talking about a much smaller country with a far less funded military fighting against its neighbor who is the only superpower in the world with the most advanced military that the world has ever seen.

I would be surprised if Canada even lasts a week.

But you never know...if Canada attacks then maybe the US will attack Mexico instead.

It's funny that you guys are pondering US vs. Canada, seeing as how Canada's military strategy for the last 30 years has been to not move away from the United States. We're their military, their protection.

Good lord some of you are dense....

The point was......

Imagine what kind of stink the media, other world leaders, etc....
would be making if a U.S. politician had said something like that.
We are the new Evil Empire you know...

God you people are clueless....it didn't have anything to do with if it
was the Canadian PM or an MP....it was about a politician saying
something like that about a supposed ally.

Damn.....what's your PayPal account so I can send you the
money to buy a frickin clue??

Ya, Canada vs America will never happen, were good friendly neighbours that just disagree on somethings. America is basically Canada's military right now, and I'm glad of that! Basically if we get attack from anyone America gots our back. Well, if the Democrats were in power then for sure, but I'm not too sure about Bush, he doesnt seem like to any other country except USA, I believe he even likes Mexico better then Canada. Don't worry Canadians aren't too funde(sp) of Bush either.

Also the MP was probably referring to your government (although i dont know what she exactly said) but if it was directed towards your government, how many of you guys can argue that? lol

The General public of the states is good, just not the party in power right now.

The US did have leaders say something kind of like that...maybe not as bad but they did call other countries 'Axis of Evil' and 'Old Europe'...

What a stupid bitch. If you're a high government official represents your whole country and you wanted to insult 300 million of your neighbors, make sure you use some witty insults instead of just plain name callings. I hope they fire that bitch.

And last time I checked it was the British that burned down the White House. How could "Canadians" burned down the White House if "Canada" wasn't exist in 1812?

Forget it. Not worth it. It's obvious to us all that you misread the subject title, Shinerburke. If you want to keep covering yourself, then so be it.

I used to always wonder why Canadians seem to think that they burned down the White House...it was the British and they did it because the Americans burned down parts of York (Toronto)

They didnt fire her last time when she said "Damn Americans, I hate those bastards!" Why would they fire her over a measly 'coalition of idiots' comment. Though I hope Paul Martin has more balls than Chretien. Since her first statement was when Chretien was in PM.

I admit it, I'm a flip-flopper:

When this thread started, I thought the comment was inappropriate. Blanket insults, especialy coming from a repeat-offender sounded like resignation material to me.

Now after a little more reading I find out she was not insulting Americans at all, but rather commenting specifically about the proposed missile defence scheme.

While I might have chosen different words, I'm inclined to agree with her on this one.
