If I lived in Windsor I may or may not take a little trip across the boarder to get gas :Q

gah. not worth the hassle. according to the **gas** thread, SE Mich prices are $3.50 / gallon. so... *calculator*... yeah, it would only save me about $5 CDN. Add in the tolls for going to and fro (tunnel or bridge) - and it would actually cost me more:

(15.2 gallons capacity in my tank) x (3.50 / gallon for gas) = $53.20 USD
- exchange rate is currently 0.84; $53.20 x 1.16 = $61.17 CDN
- ~$8 CDN to go over and come back, not counting possible delays @ border (time = $).

i'm not very good at math, maybe someone can let me know if this sounds correct.

Yep, its reached 1.19 in Vancouver as well. If this keeps up, well, maybe it'll be hello to toyota echo hatchback in a year or two even though I just bought this mazda protege5.

$1.179 L regular is the average price around here now, however one gas bar decided to have a promo at $1.03 L regular.

I hope the low price would start a gas war.
