Haha, you just broke the law...lucky you're on an American server! You're supposed to be hush hush until 10PM EST so that you don't miraculously change the mind of B.C. voters;)

Actually it's not 26 for the Liberals. It's 19. :)

Edit - Considering there's only 32 seats available in Atlantic Canada.

Looks like the Liberals are literally going to sweep Ontario (they've already won one of the two seats they didn't have here).

They've also done good in Atlantic Canada and very well (relative to the last election) in Quebec.

The projected results are Liberals at 162 seats, Canadian Reform Conservative Alliance Part at 44 seats, BQ at 34, NDP at 13 and PC at 11. Looks like all the parties will get official party status...pretty good.

EDIT
It's official - Liberal Majority.

Imagine that the PC get more votes than the Bloc and get a thrid of the seats and they just make it to official party status. Once again because of this un-unified crazy country of ours, the broken %59.21 of the popular votes have given the Liberals another majority with %40.79 of the vote. We elect a majority government who will rule us with a minority of the popular vote, and %41 of the people didn't vote, enough to put a whole new party in power. That's democracy for ya.

NicColt:

Bush, if sworn in, will have won with only about 25% of the eligible voters. Hardly a mandate.

Thank God the Canadians have sense enough to vote Liberal. I was afraid the right wing Christian fundamentalist creationists were storming the gates and were ready to assume leadership. :p
