Ok, in a war who would win between Canada and France?

WITH NO HELP FROM ANY OTHER COUNTRY (yes that includes the US)

Probably France. Their military is not a total and utter joke to the extent that Canada's "military" is. Canada doesn't even have a military. It's got like 3 fighters that hardly fly, 100 pathetic old tanks, and a half dozen very capable snipers.

So basically it would be Canada's snipers vs. France.
 
Canada, hardcore. As much as the people on these boards may make fun of Canada, I think its safe to say that they love them MUCH more than france. Canada is like a kid brother to us...France is like that creepy uncle that touches you when your parents arent around.

There isn't a huge military here, but is certainly very capable.

The only thing I know about the French military is from a parade of theirs I watched a on tv. They had a bunch of those MRLS launchers I believe...

I don't know about the training, since to train you need money. In regards to equipment France would dwarf Canada without even trying. For all intents and purposes Canada has no air force (AFAIK it's well under 100 fighters, and it's not like they're all battle capable) and no Navy (yaye, some frigates and a few destroyers!). It's got a pathetic land force. Canada's military has been trimmed - actually slashed - to the point where it's not capable of anything more than peace keeping efforts and small "me too" deployments, tagging along with larger, real militaries.

Wow you sure do know a lot about the Canadian military.

60,000 military personnel including 9,500 sailors, 19,000 soldiers, 13,000 air men and women and 18,500 administrative and support personnel. There are also 21,500 reservists.

34 warships and 9,500 sailors.

2,300 armed forces have been deployed to combat terrorism; 1,500 Canadians deployed to NATO peacekeeping in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Yeah, Sounds like they can hardly do anything.
