there are files that could help you floating around out there - search google for "fixzip.exe" or the like. I'd point you straight to a link, but I don't know off the top of my head...
I have used PKZIPFIX.EXE. It is a small DOS prog. It works well. It will repair the ZIP file and identify any bad file within. Sometimes the damaged file will still be usefull, say a text file with some garbage characters. It should be easy to find on the net. It is part of the PKZIP free/shareware.
Try UltimateZip, it has the facility to fix broken zip files (amongst other things). I've never tried that feature of it so I cannot comment on how effective it is though so make sure you make a backup of the file before attempting to fix it.
