I need a way to fix my zip file, the error says that it has a CRC error (cyclic redundancy check).

there are files that could help you floating around out there - search google for "fixzip.exe" or the like. I'd point you straight to a link, but I don't know off the top of my head...

CRC errors usu mean corrupted files. Fixing it with software programs will
only help you in recovering some of the contents of the archive.

I have used PKZIPFIX.EXE. It is a small DOS prog. It works well. It will repair the ZIP file and identify any bad file within. Sometimes the damaged file will still be usefull, say a text file with some garbage characters. It should be easy to find on the net. It is part of the PKZIP free/shareware.

Good Luck

Try UltimateZip, it has the facility to fix broken zip files (amongst other things). I've never tried that feature of it so I cannot comment on how effective it is though so make sure you make a backup of the file before attempting to fix it.

Oh, and its free BTW!
