That is how it performs on my desktop, a 4.4 GHz haswell. The experience is what I consider to be on the edge of tolerable. To do all the stuff I did in that video, it would take about 20 minutes on my phone. I would very much like to see a video of an iPhone 7 working with this map.

Pretty speedy on my Mate8. Handles zoom in/out, scrolling, reload items, etc. like a champ.

My phone(s7 edge, newest version of chrome beta browser) is just as fast as my lackluster work PC(intel i3-4130) viewing that map.

Loading in the map was the longest part, after that my S7 scrolls ands zooms around quite well.

my phone (s6 edge +) does it with ease... I'm guessing an 8 core cpu with 4 gigs of ram helps.

HTC One A9 on Chrome. No problem.

Not that much different compared to a desktop Chrome. Zooming in and out is the only obvious difference as it takes time to refresh, but in two seconds everything is okay again.

My S7 Edge does just fine with it. Not super fast, but just as fast as my 14 mbps down Uverse connection. Dare I ask what I'm looking at?

"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is a recently released video game. It has a massive world that you can freely explore (like Skyrim), so the map is also massive and detailed.
