Seriously, you said shutdown. If you wanted to have it power up say 2 hours later, you'll need something external. Either put the machine only to sleep, to wake at a certain time or when the box is addressed over the lan, or have one of the upscale UPS's that can do scheduled power downs and boot ups.

Seriously:
In the old days, with NT, we used the AT command to execute the Shutdown command at the desired time. The other way is to enable and use the scheduler program. Then there's lots of simple scripts and programs that you can download to do the same thing too. Good luck.
