Can you use Norton IS 2008 with Outlook 2007?

B/c I wasn't able to email out in Outlook 2003 while using Norton IS 2006. It was evidently an unfixable disagreement between the two programs.

So can anyone verify for me if you can email out in Outlook 2007 while using Norton IS 2008? I'll be using Vista Home Premium 64 as the OS. If not, who can recommend a good internet security suite alternative?

I have been using Norton 2007 and now 2008 on my 3 and about 6 other friend machines none are having a problem with Outlook Express. I do not have any using Outlook but would not expect a problem. All the above systems are on XP sp2 32 bit.
FWIW I have been very satisfied with the 2007 and 2008 versions of Norton they have been reliable and none of the systems I have them on are slowed down as far as I can tell even the one still using a socket 478 2.4 Ghz Prescott.

NIS 2008 supports 64-bit. 2007 i believe only supported 32-bit.

Cool...well, I'm now trying to decide between Norton IS 2008 or Kaspersky 7. I'm thinking I'm going to end up going with Kaspersky 7...anyone have any opinions?
