Can you use more than one headset with 360 on Xbox Live?

Myself and 3 other friends bought 3 extra headsets (making 4 total) to play GRAW 2 on Xbox Live. The only headset that will work is the 1st player headset. Is this just a GRAW thing or can you use more than one headset in any other games???

You can use multiple headsets (up to four total) on one 360 but each player must have their own gamertag WITH Gold membership... if they are guests on the same system then only the primary user who is not the guest can use the headset and no one else.
