Can you use best buy bucks twice?

I was just looking at the rules, and it said 1) redeem at best buy store, or 2) redeem online at bestbuy.com

In theory, couldn't you just order something online with them..... then go to best buy and buy something else?

When you redeem them at the store, do the cashier type in each code or scan the UPC (which is the same on all $1 best buy bucks)?

WELL... Technically speaking, I'm using it once at Best Buy and once at BestBut.com
