Can you use a WRT54GC as an access point.

Pretty straightforward question, I would like to use the wrt54gc in my bedroom with my xbox 360 to connect to my wrt54g in the living room.

Anyone know how to make it happen?

The WRT54GC can work as a simple Access Point.

However you want to use it as an Access Point in Client Mode, or WDS (http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Modes.html ).

Sorry, No Luck, it can Not work in these modes.

Well, maybe... If the WRT54G is older version (up to 4) it can do WDS with a firmware update (DD-WRT, or other).
