Just curious if you can use 2 modems to improve speed, performance, and or download speed? I have no clue! I appreciate any responses and suggestions on doing so, if able.

yes you can I did it for a long time... windows98 had something called Multilink.. which let you combine the devices to achieve faster connections.. I had a 33.6 and a 56k modem and could get 55.6 connections...crapy phone lines..

Also note, you're latency will not be any better than with a single connection. If your intent is a better online gaming experience, this won't help much at all, unless you're playing a game that is tapping the single line out.

I've used multilink and now I have single channel ISDN, and both times, adding the second line did nothing for my pings, but it really will double your download bandwidth.
