Can you upgrade video card memory?

I have a Hercules 3D Prophet II mx, I think with GeForce 2mx chipset. It's 32 MB. Is there any way to upgrade this memory?

don't think you can, and even if you could, i highly doubt you would see any increase in performance with more memory.

On that specific card you cannot, there have been very few cards made in the last few years in which the video memory was upgradeable.

The Matrox Millenium II came with 8mb of WRAM, and was upgradable to 16.
