Can you think of a safe additive to add to a drink to keep it from freezing?

Man, what is better than a cold drink? A colder one. I live in a world in which the pinnacle of life would be achieved with a coca cola served well below 32F, and yet remain in a liquid state. I know alcohol, antifreeze all that will lower freezing temp but is there anything safe and tasteless that one could add to a drink to let them store it in the freezer? Heck, that would just so freaking refreshing. I think I would in fact enjoy a drink served at -40.

I've found that the blood and bile of the innocent adds a flavor to any drink that just can't be matched. It also keeps them from freezing. Everyone knows this.

It would not be "refreshing." Anything below ~32 degrees F. would have the same effect as drinking something too hot i.e. it would be painful.

It would be so sweet having that -40 drink slide down your throat, freezing your esophagus and bursting your cellular membranes. Then when it thaws a minute later your capillaries bursting initiating a trickle of blood into your stomach.

At the same time your digestive mucous has been frozen and your stomach lining torn, forming instant ulcers.

When enough blood pools in your stomach you throw up, searing your already damaged throat with stomach acid further tearing your stomach lining, causing more bleeding and more puking until you pass out from blood loss and drown in your own blood and bile.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Wow! Given that scoorb is a canuck I figured he was talking celsius and converted -40C to F.

It's also -40F!!! -40C = -40F

I deny you.

I have a frozen mug and when I put my chilled drinks into it they'll sometimes crystallize at the sides, this is how I know they are only marginally above freezing and they are a delight. I could tolerate sub-freezing even if it gently froze portions of my esophagus.

The shock to your system of pouring something that cold in any quantity would be dangerous

Make them stronger or hit the mixture charts if you insist.
Don't think putting something in your mouth that's chilled to -40 is very good for you though. If your drink is cold enough to solidify a bead of mercury in a switch when immersed it's darn cold!

It would also be awesome, you know it would be.

Mix up dry ice with high grade absinthe (90%). That should get you below -85C. If you try this you will end up in the ER. (don't swallow the pelletized CO2 or you will be in trouble for sure!)
