Can you test a Shuttle XPC with a standard PSU?

I have a Shuttle XPC and I suspect that the power supply is dying on it. Can I test it with a standard power supply outside of the case to make sure that it's the power supply before I purchase a replacement?

BTW.. Why I suspect the power supply is because it's constantly rebooting on me. It won't even get through the boot process. It's about 5 years old and I've never had an issue with it until now. Can something else be causing this? If so, any ideas?

Yes, if it has the right connectors. I do it all the time.

Thanks for the response. That's what I'm asking. Does it have the right connectors? It doesn't use any weird pin configuration or anything for the power, does it?

Thanks!

No, they are mostly standard. As long as the connector fits, you are good to go.
