I'm not the greatest at car sounds but...did someone stuff something into your engine?

Edit: I have no idea, but i'm gonna guess connecting rod.

maybe there is something caught in your fan shroud or else it is misfiring pretty bad....

there could be lots of reasons for a misfire.

All spark plug wires firmly connected? All spark plugs firmly seated in the heads? No broken ceramic insulators on plugs?

Are all injector clips firmly attached? Possible injector stuck shut? Could be plenty of things, from a very easy, free, 30 second fix to something much more serious.

Year / make / model is helpful. Obviously it's a Pontiac, but...specifics wouldn't hurt.

Sounds like you need to top off the injector fluid.

Sounds like an exhaust leak from the manifold.......among other things.

Ive actually ran into this same difficulty your having with this car, its fairly common. Its called the "you bought a pontiac and now your fvcked" problem. And, as the name implies, your'e are pretty much screwed.

i'm guessing either the transmission or you need a new spark plug. my car started to make funny noises but i found out the spark plugs had become correded and the engine unbalanced by firing on 3 of 4 cylinders
