Can you suggest good audio-plate outlets for in-wall?

Not sure my terminology is correct in the subject, but alas:

I am working on prewiring a basement to 7.1 sound (prior to finishing it). I will need to get audio plates that are about the same size as conventional electric outlets. Do you know of good brands or websites that sell this type of thing?

Basically I am looking for a connection from the outside part of the wall (facing the room) to accept banana plugs and would like to bare-wire the connection from the wire on the inside of the wall.

Yeah I know that, but not really at a great price. I would think better can be had at a cheaper price like at a real audio store?

I'll second Parts Express. Great prices and great service. Sometimes they're out of stock of stuff you need for a while, though. Accessories4Less is another good one to check.

I'll third PartsExpress. I just bought a boat load of wallplates, speaker mount, etc. for my setup. They have it all. Keystone jacks is the way to go.

Actually the Parts Express store is about 35 minutes away from my house, I've been there before. I thought it was kind of expensive asking $7 - $8 for one plate. Or is that a good price?

If you have a lot of plates to make up, get the kit from Parts Express.
