ewiz has a asus x1950pro instock for $185
but if I go through froogle it comes up as $180
When I add it to my cart the one I froogle shows up with a [fr] in front. I don't know what it means, but I was wondering if vendors made deals with search sites at times.

Sometimes, when you click on a link through a search engine, a special promo code may automatically be entered and you will receive a discount. Such a discount will only be available if you entered the vendor's website through that specific link, so to answer your question, Yes, this is possible.

But like Shellguy said, when it comes to buying parts for building, I usually don't sweat a couple bucks here and there. What's more important is WHO you're buying from. Look for good customer service, good return policy, instock, etc.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, ewiz via froogle is a good deal. Their prices on some items make other popular resellers look cracked. Another way to save some moolah is referral sharing via fatwallet or ebates.

Make sure you always compare the whole deal - that includes shipping.
