Can you see the virgin Mary?

I'm afraid not. I guess the whole cross-section has a vaguely female-silhouette look to it... Nope, those people are just idiots.

No, I can't.
No, people don't even know what she looked like.
No, the Bible does not give her any significance in being higher than any other human being. She died and remains dead.

BUT SHE WAS HOLY AND IMMACULATELY CONCEIVED!!!11!

I like how the catholic church continues to call her the Virgin Mary. Jesus had siblings, so obviously she didn't remain a virgin.

True. Jesus had at least 2 brothers (Jude and James) and sisters.

If you are willing to do the research, even just using Wikipedia, you can see that the whole Messianic Mother (what I call it) goes back to ancient Babylon and continues throughout history. Prophecies regarding some holy mother giving birth to the savior of the world, and people worshiping the mother as a goddess.

The Catholics believe she did have other children after Jesus.

She did not, though. Jesus' brother's were half brother's from Joseph's side.

There's no record of Joseph marrying anyone else or having kids with anyone else. As far as we know, he died sometime during Jesus' childhood.

Jesus' brothers and sisters were children of Mary and Joseph.
