In theory you can run more than 1 video cards simultaneously (I run a triple monitor setup with three cards) but games will normally f_ck up when running other Apps at samte time. When I play a game I do not try running other Apps at same time but I do not disable my other cards either.

Hope this helps.

You can run two Voodoo2s in SLI mode, and you can use one AGP card and one PCI card to run two monitors, so there are instances in which you can use two video cards at the same time.

I ran a Geforce 2 MX AGP and a Voodoo 3 PCI and 2 monitors. Windows XP just set up an extended desktop. I had no problems at all.

So yes you can run 2 video cards at the same time. If you have enough PCI slots, monitors and PCI video cards, you can run as many as you want to.
