i'm a pretty fast sprinter as it is but i have these tiny little chicken legs. if i add a significant amount of leg muscle and keep running will i get any faster? or does it really have nothing to do with muscle size..

your sprinting should be noticeably faster; but your endurance will probby suffer...

When I gained a lot of leg muscle in 12th grade, my sprinting was much faster. But - it's not bulk that makes you fast.. you should try to gain muscle by doing low weight and high reps if you want to run faster.

Fast sprinters are born. Fast distance runners (800 meter on up) are made.

You can very minimally increase your sprinting speed if you were born with a high percentage of slow twitch muscle fibre vs. fast twitch muscle fiber.

Being chased by somebody with a chainsaw helps also.
