Buy one at best buy, use it, return it. Pay 15% restocking fee - just like you rented it.

Or just buy one, they are only $100.

Borrow from a friend or family
If you have VZW, you can use the navigator feature for like $3/day
Buy and return from store, pay restock fee

why should someone who takes maybe one trip a year buy one? its kinda useless.

just go to google maps and print it out. or borrow a unit from a friend.

also check to see if your cell phone has one on it. Verizon has a GPS thing for like $10 a month

Several people here mentioned buying it and then returning it.

My conscious woudn't allow me to do that, it's just wrong..

i wouldnt worry about it. BB charges 15% restocking fee and then turns around and sells it for as much or more than they would normally make...

because if any place charges you, it would likely come close to the cost of buying one.

i am sure you'll end up using it more than once a year, unless you really have no life.
and if you don't have a life, this will encourage you to go out and get one.

I see a lot of websites like rentgps.com, but they look like they were put together by an 11 year old. Seems shady.

?

Dood, you can pick one up for $79.... just buy it.
