Can you remove the LINKS folder from your Favorites list in IE?

I've tried deleting it, hiding it, and moving it to another subfolder. However, it still comes back. Curious if it's possible to completely get rid of that.

i checked mine as a hidden folder and haven't seen it since.

If you have your view settings set to always view hidden files/folders, you will still see the links folder if you have set it to be hidden.

Scroll down to where it says remove links.
