Can you remove epox 8kha+ mobo fan?

If it's louder than your CPU fan , then their something wrong with your Chipset fan. The KT266A Chipset seems to do OK with out the active cooling, so if you removed the mobo fan it should still be O.K. , but instead of just removing it, why not replace it..,, more cooling is always a plus.
