Can you recommend me a nice mid-tower case (at least three 5 1/4 and 3 1/2) for $75 incl. shipping.

I know NOTHING about cases. Can you recommend a nice, quiet case with at lease 3 5.25 bays and 3 3.5 drive bays. Need intake and exhaust fan...doesn't need to have a power supply. Also want removable side panels.

NFS4,

I can't believe YOU would need help with cases! I have seen dozens of posts by you!
Anyway, go to Directron and shop.
They have some of the best deals and choices for what you are looking for.:)

Do you need the 3x3.5 drive bays exterior? The Elan Vital T-10 has three exterior 5" bays, and one 3.5 exterior bay (three interior). I liked the case so much I bought a second one. From my experience, it has excellent cooling (room temp 20c/mb temp 23c) with only two fans, lots of room, no nasty edges, sides all slide off easily (I can get into my case and out in less than 60seconds), and the bays all slide out as well. It doesn't have a removable motherboard tray, which is fine since everything else can be removed without effort. In Canada, the case sells for just a bit over $100 ($60US est.). Here is their website:

Happy shopping!

NFS4 - If this case is for your system, it's worth the extra $$$ for one of the Antec cases. I received the SX1030 that I ordered from C4S about a week ago and I love it! The price was $92 shipped after BFL shipping rebate ($17). It has 4 5.25 bays and 6 3.5 bays (2 with external access). The black version is just so cool looking :)

I would avoid Antec at all costs. I have receieved the WORST support from them than any other manufacturer I've ever dealt with all over a $70 power supply. And I'm not some rookie, I used to order computers for the provincial government (a few million dollars worth a year). Besides, their cases are all flash and no show.

hagbard - "All flash and no show"?!?!? WTF? I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience with their CS, but their cases are sweet! Have you tried dealing with the vendor that you bought the PS from? You may have better luck there. . . . But NFS4 said that he doesn't need a PS anyway and what else can break on a case? ;)

NFS4 - I would also recommend that you look at the Hydraulic cases that Directron.com carries. Alienware uses them for their systems, so they have to be good quality. They look very nice and are priced reasonably to boot. And since you don't need a power supply, the Fong Kai FK-320 may do the trick for you. Directron sells it for $76 + shipping (probably about $15). I've heard many nice things about this case :)

Dantzig - Yeah, I did contact my dealer (Onvia.ca) early on. I told them I didn't want to send back a perfectly good power supply until I know its bad. So I waited to get a reply from Antec tech support...got busy with other things (like Xmas) and it was too late. I now have to deal with Antec. I fully expected to get a reply that would show that the problem wasn't with the PS (I suspected CMOS corruption), but I heard nothing. I only got a reply after posting here (because of posting here, I should add). The reply was that the PS was defective. After telling them I was just going to throw it in the trash (too much hassle and costly to ship across the border) I get a call saying they're going to send a new one, don't bother returning the old. Two weeks later, no PS. Contact CS, they blantantly ignore the deal they already made with me (my email: "I'm not doing an rma" / their reply: "here is your rma number").
