I'm looking for a good gamepad to play fighting games on my PC. What are some good performing, budget, excellent gamepad controllers for the PC? I'm not familiar with PC gamepads. Thank you.

thrustmaster firestorm digital 2

nice, comfortable (for me at least), lots of buttons, and cheap. Unfortunately only digital directions - no analouge

edit;

just found a link. don't know if it's the best price for it, but it should be somewhere within this region; Here

If you know how to solder you can build your own Parallel Adapter and use your Playstation controller as a gamepad. Works great on Mame. Parts will run you about 10 - 15 dollars

i know, but the digital 2 has all the buttons of the PS, plus 4 more (2 more if you consider start and select), and is $10

you can hardly find a better deal

my gravis eliminator was 13.00 usd on sale and has 10 buttons two analog directional sticks and a dpad
(seems normal price is 39.99)
and it has taken two years approx abuse lol

no drivers needed

tony hawks is much easier with the buttons mapped where i need then and with ten buttons it handles all the moves

If you like the Playstation controller, pick up the Gravis Gamepad Pro USB. I've got two of them. They're great. I've had one for about 3 years, and about 6 months ago I took it apart to clean the button contacts.

<---Thinks back to the NES.

Thanks for all the suggestions and recommendation. I guess nobody liked the MS sidewinder, must not be good for gaming. I am looking for a gamepad with the best responsive d-pad since it is important in fighting games.
