QTPie glad you solved your problem :)

no mi e dosta skuchno....

Aww, cheer up. I can't smile for both of us, my face can only take so much. I NEED MOR PWWWRRR. An online conversation with an interesting person can be just as good for getting rid of the 'ole aloneness/boredom as actual interaction, though accept no substitutes.

What's on your mind mate?

Cheers ! :)

Lol. Well, its march break and I have nothing to do but play CS and do math and physics. Friends don't wanna do anything either. At least it'll be over soon.

Here's a good question. Are you really that happy all the time? You've mentioned several times that you feel nothing but joy (or something along those lines), well how do you do that? I can't imagine a person being truly happy all the time.

And Btw, that wasn't actual Russian, I came close to failing Russian when I studied it. But try and guess which language it is. :)

Keep teeling yourself that and it will be over before you realize.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm one of those obnoxious people that wave hello to everyone. That's ok though since I balance it with such a healthy dose of skepticism and sarcasm that many people think I'm a cantankerous grouch. Gotta keep 'em guessing, I say.

You've mentioned several times that you feel nothing but joy (or something along those lines), well how do you do that?

Why do I need to do anything? Through no effort of my own I am. I can feel sadness. Now. I am sad now, there is much sadness in the world. Would you like me to continue? It's not very pleasant. Sadness is just another side of joy. You have to understand that my words can mean different things. Ask yourself, what did linuxboy mean? If you think you've understood, then there is a high chance you haven't. Confusion necessitates humility.

I can't imagine a person being truly happy all the time.

What does it mean to be happy at all? If it is a simple mental state, then careful control and exercise can accomplish that. But what good is it? If you mean true happiness, then what is that? Let's talk about this, maybe you can help me understand.

And Btw, that wasn't actual Russian, I came close to failing Russian when I studied it. But try and guess which language it is.

Why Bulgarian, of course. I'm just out of practice so I didn't respond back.

Cheers ! :)

How would sadness be another side of joy? I honestly don't understand that.

I guess it varies from persont to person. To me it would be no having to worry about stuff (like money or school) and not doing unpleasant things. Joy and happiness would be having a good job, watching good movies, reading good books and spending lots of time with people that I like :)

Now how in the world did you know that? :Q Most people don't even know its a country.

There is sadness. I am sad. And there is joy. Be happy, the world is a wonderful place. I am the eye, I look inside and what do I see? I see sadness, great sadness and grief. All is in pain and all want some way out. I look again and what do I see? I see joy, gladness and mirth. I hear the laughter of children. And this is happiness. And there is sadness in that. Someone is not doing that. And someone is. And so sadness is joy. Joy is you.

For another, joy and happiness is waking up in the world with no pain. For another, joy and happiness rests in the birth of a child. Yet for another, sitting down after 14 hours of labor is joy and happiness. I have done all these things. Joy and happiness are. You have so far told me what would it mean to experience joy or possibly some things that cause happiness. You have not yet told me what joy and happiness are. Perhaps you can elaborate, I really am having trouble

:). There is much to learn in the world. Each new discovery brings new insight and knowledge. Each experience carries with it potential. I just happen to be equipped with some sort of brain that recalls random stuff like what language people speak... I just sit back and enjoy the ride and be thankful. There are plenty of people alot smarter than I who can figure out how I would know something like that.

Good discussion tonight. Thank you. :)

Cheers ! :)

Its hard to explain I guess. Its just that feeling when you have no worries and you can't help but smile at everything. That's the best explanation I can come up with.

Well, you seem quite well versed in many areas. I know what you mean, since I am like that, but to a much lesser degree it seems. Ever considered trying out for Jeopardy? You can always use an extra several grand. :D

Well that's what it is to me. But then I'm thinking that maybe happiness is having worries but knowing what to do with them. Or perhaps more importantly what NOT to do with them.

Nah, I don't need money. I can live without it. Plus, what's the point of going in front of people to show I can recall information or compete with others to show them that I am worse or better than they are at clicking and recalling data? I don't know... Just seems kinda... shallow. I like shallow but this is the wrong flavor.

Cheers ! :)

I'm russian, and to me... Czech sounds like Russian words that I don't know. I was at a resteraunt a few days ago, and people behind me spoke Czech (or so I assume). And I kept thinking they were speaking Russian but I couldn't understand a word they were saying!!! It's wierd; it sounds the same but it's a completely different language. BTW, I am safe in assuming that most of the Russians on ATOT are, like myself, in Amerca now?
