I downloaded a Age of Empires III demo from www.gamespot.com, it downloaded fine and installed fine but when I go to play it says:

Initialization Failed
Direct 3D initialization failed Possible causes

Old or corupted graphics driver
Direct 3D improperly installed
Hardware acceleration disabled
starting the application with the workstation locked

What should I do to make the demo work???????
 
Yeah, its a DirectX version problem, in all likelihood, or a vid driver problem.
