Can you overclock memory with 4 dimms?

I just installed my system a week ago and have not yet begun trying to overclock anything (trying to read through all the info, as it has been a while for me). Anyways, I read somewhere that with 4 dimms (4 x 512mb PC3200 in my case), speed is limited to DDR333. That is exactly what my DFI nforce4 ut board is doing with the default settings. It is doing 2T timings :(

Q: am I stuck with that or can I push things a bit?

With all most A64's your stuck with DDR333, but I believe you can do 1T at DDR333 with 4 dimms. Force it to use 1T, and then run memtest on it, see if it errors.

You can likely manage to do 200 (400DDR) with 4 DIMMs at 2T, but there is no guarantee. Try it, Memtest86 it, if it doesn't work, try 166 (333DDR) 1T
