bit the bullett this afternoon, and bought a KyroII, figuring if I didn't like it as well as my GTS2, it would make a great b'day present for my girlfriend ( 8mg agp).
I mostly (still) play UT and Quake 3.
I uninstalled the old Nvidia drivers, swapped cards, installed the latest drivers from the Hercules website, and booted up. Took a while to get the geometry settings just right. Left the Open GL and D3D setting at default. Loaded UT. Ran 1 minute, BSOD. Ran 3dmark 2000, hard lock.
Started saying to myself " I'm an ahole, should'a stuck with what worked".
Decided to see if there were any tweak settings in Properties. The more I tweaked, the better it got.
I have NEVER seen Quake 3 look so damn nice!!! The colors are outstanding!!! Seems to play as quick and smooth as the Nvidia card.
D3D with UT still needs a little tweaking, but is almost there.( and no longer locks up).
Overall I am impressed as hell :)
NOW, the big question, are there any overclocking utilities out yet for this card???

Get the newest version of Powerstrip and you can overclock the Kyro II without restarting. Your board should overclock to around 190mhz or 195mhz at the most. I have heard of people hitting 200mhz+ with a little extra cooling.

EDIT: I'm assuming in this post that you have a Herc 4500 and not a Vivid!XS or a INNO3D Kyro II, the Vivid!XS doesn't have a fan so it won't hit those speeds I mentioned without extra cooling and I'm not familiar with the INNO3D Kyro II so I'm not sure if it has a fan or not.
