I remember when this was first posted that the speed of the blocks is dependent on the speed of your machine. So you have an unfair advantage on a crappy machine.

I also remember the pattern I developed. The blocks follow the same pattern every time, so you can develop your own pattern of safe places. After a lot of trial and error, you can get some really really impressive scores. The less movement, the better.

Here's how I start:
Straight down, then straight up, and over to the top left corner. Hang out there until you absolutely have to move. This tells you which block is going to get you.

Try again. Straight down, then straight up, and over to the top left corner. Hang out until the square block is about half way up the diagonal toward you. Then straight down, and over to the center, then...

Figure your own pattern out. At this point in my pattern, it's 16 or 17 seconds, and I've barely moved.
