Hey admins, can you guys lock this thread? its been a flame since day....um...two. i'd report about some people who should be banned, but i'm not d!ck like that. i'd just like for this thread to die. thanks.

as for tasque, he's a new dude and is talking trash to me, and especially to markfw900, about him, his age, and his family.
 
Yes Tasque should be banned right away,personal attacks are usually not tolerated here.

And that felix guy isn't winning any points either with all his AMD bashing in numerous thread crappings lately.

I agree with the vacation sentiment.

Besides, he has a P4EE and is unwilling to discuss the fact that it is not a very good processor compared to the FX. His type of attitude does not generate the intelligent discussion that these boards were intended for.
 
I cleared out the title and body. That was a couple of hours down the drain.

If you follow it carefully youll notice who started all the thread crapping. They couldnt help themselves I suppose.

Now watch, Ill create a new thread and just watch them pile into my thread. I say vacations are due for all of them. 🙂

Thanks for the link Budman, I had no idea that Felix was such an Intel fanboi. I was trying to be supportive in the thread OP was talking about, don't like to bash people for no reason. After reading that thread it is obvious that Felix does more than his fair share of thread crapping and fanboism. I guess to him it is ok to do that because he believes so strongly that he is right he has extreme tunnel vision. I guess severe product loyalty will do that to you. Felix if you honestly believe Mark and Mik3y deserves to be banned, you should also nominate yourself. As the posters you mentioned were being quite a bit more level-headed, especially Mik3y. Perhaps you should review some of your previous posts in other threads. Or do those not matter because you were posting "for the pride of Intel" :roll:

Edit: By the way I still agree that Tasque went over the line with personal attacks. Also claiming the M5 is a concept car was a little ridiculous. (Having a concept model unveiled, and entirely being a concept car are entirely different. As one poster in that thread owned him in that respect)

Ok I see the post you are referring to in that thread, but that does not change what you said first. I thought Mik3y kept a pretty good demeanor in the thread about your new 3.4EE, he was trying to congratulate you, even if he pointed out the price thing it was not in an inflammatory way. I tried to do the same thing as I am not an "AMD user" as you state. I happen to run AMD processors but that is because they fit my budget and provide a price😛erformance ratio that I find suitable. I don't really care either way and do own several Intel CPUs. These were gifts mind you but like I said if Intel came out with a CPU that fits my price😛erformance ratio then I would certainly purchase it as I hardly have any brand loyalty whatsoever. I am out to try to get bang for the buck. I am glad that you like Intel because I like them too, they make some really good CPUs. The problem I have is that you seem to have a narrow mind about CPUs, including the reference you made to AMDs being less reliable because you had dealt with two of them that had failed. This is not even a remotely close accurate representation of the total amount of AMD CPUs that are currently being used. Like some had pointed out in your flamebait, why does anyone go AMD thread, CPU failures are usually caused by user error. I am not trying to say you don't know how to handle/install CPUs as I'm sure you do if you do as many trades, testing for dead CPUs as you pointed out in the same thread. However to put things in perspective I have dealt with at least 20-30 AMD CPUs and I have NEVER seen one fail except by user error. I could go into detail about each processor if you would like, but I would like to point out I am still using an original slot Athlon (550 MHz) in one of my backup computers that runs 24/7 and has not had any trouble what-so-ever. Anyways this isn't the forum to get into these kinds of discussions but just thought I should clear that up. Again congrats on your EE I hope you enjoy it.
