can you install both OS's (win2k pro and win2k adv server) from the MS Hot kit on the same partition

I'd like to install both OS on the same partition but don't feel like re partitioning. right now I've got just one big ntfs partition. can the two coexist on the same partition but with different root directories (ie. c\winnt and c\winntserver). I believe adv server will not let you install to a partition with a current OS?

I am pretty sure that it would work, but you have to be care with shared directories (program files) when installing/removing programs.

The best way to do it is to use separate partitions. If you can get a copy of partition magic it will let you repartition without losing data
