Can You Imagine Life Without the Internet?

My other thread got me thinking. I'm a year and a half out of college now, and was just thinking of how different it would have been without such easy access to computers/internet. I was also in school with the big Napster boom was in its prime (great for getting lots of party music) and email was a necessity.

I'm just having a hard time picturing life without these conveniences. I have to check out a book from the library? The what? :Q

My 2 cents.

Geez, I don't know what I'd be doing, probably be in college educating myself to become an upstading pillar of the community, but thanks to the Internet, I'm posting on this silly forum :)

Imagine having to send a letter to get in touch with someone (if you couldn't call them)

Just weird!

I think the world would be a worse place without it. Some people might lose some weight and experience the pleasure of natural light again but by-and-large the benefits of the 'net far outweigh the negatives.

The 'net is changing though, becoming much more commercial. There may come a time when you want to see life without it. ;)

It would be like the good ol' days, when the 95% of the people "online" through BBS's were into technology and actually knew how to use a computer, unlike 95% of the morons who now use the internet. The only problem back then was busy telephone lines :(

LOL. Yeah, I agree with PsychoAndy. I advise a Mod lock this thread, and we never speak of this again.
