If I said the president of South Africa people may simply dismiss it as something that happens often over there. But if they understood the importance of the office and its implications then they would see how a leader's actions can affect a whole nation. Before Zuma there was Mbeki who did not believe in AIDS at all. He had an American adviser who denied that AIDS comes from HIV.

I'm pretty sure that a very low percentage of people have ever had blood transfusions there. Way less than 20% of the population (minimum). So, yes, the problem IS sex.
