I know, not the best pic.. but I also sorta squashed him too... we've had a few giant (carpenter?) ants lately.. this one is huge.. but.. is that what it is? almost looks wasp-like, sorta.. maybe. but damn, none of the other ants were THIS big...

I smashed one of those this moring, the shell was so thick, that it almost took about as much force as it would to break a toothpick, to snap the head/abdomen apart...

I was slightly disturbed, as it crawled out from under a pile of dirty laundry on my basement floor...

giant ant.. heh.. it's more like a super ant.. man i hope it's not some carpenter ant problem.. there's no clear trail of them.. they are randomly around, so I have no idea if we're in trouble or not...
