Can you ID this internal laptop connector?

I've been trying to figure out a cheap and inexpensive graphics upgrade for my Wyse 5070 thin client, which has Intel HD 600 video. From my research, it looks like this ~$25 laptop MX350 video card would increase performance by a factor of 5, and only use about 10 watts.

Trouble is, I'm not sure if this is a Lenovo only proprietary hookup, or if this is some sort of standard mini pci E Express, or something that is a standard for a lot of laptops.

Also, I understand that with a laptop that would be designed for this, it would stop using the built in video and change to this, but keep using the onboard video out. This 'card' does not have video out, so I'm not sure at all if it would work at all with a thin client. This thin client is used in doctor's offices and other similar places, and is not really designed to allow the video to be upgraded. I know this would be an upgrade for it, but I'm not sure if a standard PC has the ability to upgrade the video, but still use the onboard video outputs.

If anyone can shed any light on this for me, I would really appreciate it!

Interesting - I hadn't previously heard of MXM, so I have some reading to do. I've never upgraded graphics on a laptop before, and didn't realize it might be possible until I saw this photo.
