Ok I have the evga 780mb and 3 gtx 280. I have 2 monitors hooked up right now.

There current resolutions are
2560 1600
1920 1080

I am hooping to be able to hook a 3rd maybe even a forth monitor. The 3rd one would be the pc to an hd tv setup. I already have it hooked up now its just a pain to have to switch one offt then turn the other back on when done. I would prefer to just have it run straight through. I also Have a 3rd monitor or 4th device I would like to hook up its a 26 or so inch lcd monitor basic stuff. So since I have tri sli is there a way for me to hook up everything andd not have to worry about turning stuff off.

Heya,

If the motherboard has an integrated graphics chipset, it could be used to power one or two displays (but not all IGC's work when you install dedicated GPU's, only some do). Also, if you have those 280's in 3xSLI, you can't use them all for display output (only the primary one, which will only have enough connections for two displays). The only way you can get more displays plugged in is with an appropriate integrated chipset on your motherboard, by adding another display adapter, or by not using tri-SLI to free up one of the cards for display output (though that's a huge waste of a 280).

If you have a 4th PCIe slot, get a cheap display card (like $40 at best) with DVI, DVI or DVI, HDMI and add two displays that way without messing with your SLI setup. You could also do this via a normal PCI slot or PCIe 1.0 slot or something. Any of those. Just get a cheapy display card. It's just for display, not gaming, so it doesn't matter. That's the easiest way.

Very best,
