Can you hook up a keyboard and mouse to an XBOX to play Halo for example?

There is one that exists, but since the input method for Halo (and all other Xbox games) is geared to accept analog input from an auto-centering joystick with a slow rate of change (thumbstick) I can't imagine that would translate well to a free-floating fast moving device (mouse)
