I have a craving for beat em ups, and am thinking of getting a cheap console to satisfy it, as i havent been able to find anything decent for the pc

my problem is i dont have a tv, or anywhere to put one

as an alternative, is it possible to run a console into a tv card, and do it that way?, as i am intending to get one soon so i can watch tv

the only one i can find is for a dremacast, and im more interested in the playstion (not PS2) and n64 due to the fact i dont wanna pay a lot of money just to play beat em ups

Im not sure but the dreamcast RGB may work for it.

I know there is a PSX RGB cable you may have trouble finding it but it does exist...

well if you get a tv card with rca jacks, or coaxial, you should be set, because if you have both systems, or one they should be able to support both rca or coaxial, but i think they come standard with the rca's, gotta pay nowadays for coaxial, make sure the card supports rca inputs, other wise you'll have to find a box to convert from rca to coaxial, or get the extra connecter for the systems.

yeah, i have a hauppage wintv usb, it has coaxile (cable duh) and s video in. so you can buy a rf tuner and itll work for any console. dreamcast do have a adapter. its pretty neat. doesnt work with all, id say like 97 percent of dc games work.

If I have a ATI-TV Wonder, will I be able to hookup a Dreamcast to it and what additional cables may I need? I know it's a very easy task, but I have no experience with hooking up console systems and thus don't know what cables are needed. Thanks!

uhh see if a mod will move it to general hardware, your cloggin up my OT, and i don't own a dreamcast, youll probbly havata buy a dreamcast to whatever the tv card supports cable, if the tv card doesnt support rca inputs. . if it only takes coax, maybe you can cheat and pass from dreamcast to a vcr then to the pc. ..

I have this PCI TV Wonder also. Yes the second to top is Super Video. I don't remember if there is an audio input on it. I think there is, if there isn't use the line in on your sound card.
