It might help if you can tell us something like the last 10 games you played and really enjoyed and then we have some reference for suggesting similar content, it will also stop us suggesting some things you've already played.

Bioshock (all)
Deus Ex 1 & 3 (original and Human Revolution)
Dishonored

If you want good story without action & shooting, then there are hundreds of RPG's and point & click adventure genre games.

If you like good action games then I can recommend the Wolfenstien:The new Order which can be played either more action or more stealth, also there's a stand along prequel expansion called Wolfenstein:The old blood

If you like GTAV then you ought to play some of the older GTAs, the graphics are more dated but the gameplay is fun and solid, GTAIV is not too bad with some good expansions.

If you like some RPG elements then the open world RPG games like Skyrim and Fallout 3/new vegas are also really good, albeit a bit older.

It would seem you are looking for a game with a good story. ;)

That's probably the hardest trait to find in a lot of action / FPS games.

FarCry4 has a moderately interesting story.

Borderlands 2 has a good story with excellent voice acting (and a good wit).

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl has a deep, interesting story, but you kind of have to dig for it.

I've never played a Bethesda game (Skyrim / Fallout) where the story interested me for more than 10 minutes.

Alan Wake, Dishonored, and Bioshock Infinite all have pretty good stories and excellent gameplay.

Both of the Metro games (2033 and Last Light) have alright stories. Most people seem to rate them higher than I do...I thought the environment was far more interesting than the story.

Okay then. Have you played Underhell? It's a free Source Mod at this point, but it's being reworked for a Steam Greenlit release.

I thought the game was pretty fantastic (and pretty long...I had about 22 hours into it). I'm usually not impressed by mods, but calling this game a mod really doesn't do it justice.

Try singularity, Cryostasis, Aliens Vs Predator, Alien Isolation so many titles hard to know what you have played.

Have you tried any of the total war series?

Okeyy gonnda try that then tyy

The game is two-part (Prologue and Chapter 1). The gameplay and environment really switches gears between the two (Chapter 1 is where things get quite interesting).

It really is an exceptional piece of work for a little mod team, and with the rehash for Greenlight, it will likely be updated and be quite a bit better.

I enjoyed it more than 90% of the AAA FPS titles I've played in the past 5 years. The depth of story, pacing, environment, stealth and gunplay....all done amazingly well for a non-published game.

BTW...the FPS mechanics are really great. Unlike most Source games, you can ADS (and unlike most games, when you scope, the only thing magnified is what you're viewing through the lens; the surrounding view is unchanged).

Don't be put off by the Half-Life 2 era graphics - - the gameplay quickly transcends them.
