Okay, here's the scoop. I bought a ti200 geforce 3 from these guys, and it turns out they sold me a fried VC. I exchange it, and they still haven't given me a replacement in the past 2 MONTHS. They've been saying they are going to get me one "tomorrow" for the past month etc. I recorded this conversation on the phone just for kicks today... I'm sopposed to talk with "Sam" but apparently he's not there again. All I want is my money back.

But what I want to know is, WHAT ARE THESE GUYS SAYING IN THE BACKROUND?? I'm curious... they are talking about me, because i hear "video card...etc etc." Can you guys help me desipher it?

the legality of recording your voice depends on the sate you are currently living in. In California, you can record coversations so as long as at least one person who's voice is present on the tape knows that it is being recorded. In other states you cannot do it without discolsing that it is being recorded. That is why often security cameras record only video, and not audio. By the way, the stiffer the law get presedence, so if he lives in a state where it is not allowed, you will not be able to use against him.
 
Is that Sam in the background? I think you need to be a bit more assertive and get either your video card back or a refund NOW.

Sounds like he says something about waiting for a video card all day. Then I clearly hear "you would have thought he would have figured that out"
 
grrr.... that makes me wonder. I know i'll probably end up taking these guys to court. The guy i'm actually talking to is the only decent person in that place. Seems to me the others work for Mr. Bin laden. heh
