Can you have too much power from a PSU?

I'm curious- people are saying get a 300, get a 350, whatever. I found a decent deal on newegg and grabbed an Antec True550. Can I go wrong with more watts than I need?

no, in fact its better. Just make sure it doesn't toss all the power onto 1 rail and leave the 12v alone
