can you have Standby and Hibernate function set to a timer, ie standy after 10min and Hibernate 25min

I've yet to get both to work simultaneously. I'll set standby for 10min and hibernate for 25min and the laptop goes on standby after 10. come back 1 hour later and still only on standby. If I set standby to never then after 25min it goes to hibernate. I can have one of the two but not both. thanks anyone notice this also

On my HP 5195 it works perfectly everytime. Check make sure the BIOS APM is set the same way as the one on your Power Management software.

hmm thanks. BTW I'm running w2k with acpi. I thought APM and ACPI where exlcusive of each other. One or the other but not both. thanks
