I have a hosting account and 5 domains reserved and want them all to direct to the same site with one domain ultimately resolving. Can I point them all to the same IP or do I have to setup each domain separately and have them redirect to the main domain?

note - my host is a reseller account handles unlimited domains.

You're with dathorn, right?

Which domain registrar are you using?

Ross can correct me here, but I think you could do it either way. Forward them all to one domain or have them all resolve to one IP address.

LOL You have learned well :)

I think YES you can do this one of two ways, although I'm not sure which is the best:
1) Go to NameCheap.com, login to the members section and they offer FREE URL forwarding.
2) In WHM choose park domain or in cPanel choose addon domain.

Yes, you can point them all to the same IP address.

With host headers, you can even have different pages served up on the same IP address. This can be done because most browsers include the domain name they're trying to reach when they make the GET request. The server can look for this and serve up different pages based on the host header.

At one point I was hosting three different websites on my IIS server at home, on a single public IP address.
