Really? I bought them all when they were cheap, do all the work myself, and have been offered $150K for the T-Bird by a serious collector who claims mine is the best he has ever seen. I have never lost a dime on a classic car. I know which ones to own.

Don't you have a cat to rescue somewhere? Not my kind of pussy but to each their own.

That's my point, someone offered you way over value at $150k and since you can find these cheap, you still didn't sell.

You aren't responsible with money, you just got lucky like most that have it.

One nice house can suck up all that money. Then you'll basically be back where you started. Actually a little better since you wont have a house payment.

Most people can't handle windfalls. One of the internships I did back in school was for Harvey's in Lake Tahoe. I couldn't believe how many people were hooked on drugs and booze because the money was so easy. Bartenders taking home $800 in cash a night. Maitre d's taking home $400 a night in cash. Dealers getting $200 to $1000 a night in tips. And all these folks had a spoon up their nose. The Mayor of Tahoe got busted for gun running. Mobile drug labs in casino parking lots. Tiny lots with condemned houses across the street from the lake with no direct access being snapped up for $1 million a piece. Wall to wall hookers and blow in the heart of a National Forrest. Vegas is downright refined compared to Tahoe.

@JEDI
i would stick with what you got.
i would say that this was just a stairstep and it gets worse before it gets better but this was quite a turnaround today. tomorrow will tell what is really going on.
i think the rumor that FB buyer might get reimbursed or compensated for their losses got people in a good mood
