I'm running a q6600 quad on a gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3P and Gskill 2x2gb pc1066.

I would like to set the FSB at 333 with a multi of 9 and run memory in asychronous mode 2:3.

Can you guys confirm this will give me a bus speed of 1300mhz, a CPU speed of 3Ghz, and memory speed of 1000mhz???

From this point, if all goes well, I'll up the FSB gradually until I reach my goal of about 355mhz. Giving me 3.2Ghz cpu, 1066mhz memory.

Recommendations on voltage going to cpu would be appreciated.

And, I did read the OC guidelines, so I will set PCI E bus to 100mhz, and pci bus to 33mhz.

Am I forgetting anything?? OC'ing my rig is going to be my weekend project. :)

Thanks in advance for all the help I'm sure I will receive.

Try 355 mhz right away for fsb, no sense in wasting time. Your parts should be able to handle that if you got a good cpu. Even if you got a poorly-overclocking cpu, it'll just BSOD on windows as the worst case.

Thanks, what about 355fsb vcore??

Also, that would put the FSB on the motherboard at 1420mhz... any adjustment in voltage for the chipsets??

Supposedly this motherboard supports FSB up to 1600mhz.

thanks.
