Can you guess why this pc won't boot?

The lady brought her Dell pc and monitor in yesterday wondering why it wouldn't power up. One of our tech's opened it this morning to discover this. Luckily they were all dead.

She must have not been using a raid array......ba da dum!

Sorry some of them are blurry. My batteries were dying, so the optical focus was off a bit.

The focus is not off because the batteries are dying. The focus is off because you don't know how to use the macro function of your camera.

Most of those pics are useless. Just link the ones that you can actually tell what it is. Looks like little grasshoppers to me.

Some of them are blurry? ALL of them are blurry. And i don't know why the batteries would affect the focus, it hasn't on the few digital cameras i've used.

I'd rather you take your time and do 1 or 2 good pics rather than those dozen pics

You are wrong. I've taken hundreds of pics with no problems using that cam. The motor sounded like it was struggling, so it may be that that has a problem. I assumed it was a battery/power issue, but I haven't put new one's in to verify that yet.

It really doesn't matter though, you still get the idea.

No. They're Crickets. She must have a lizard or something she feeds cricket's too. I bet that lizard starves.

Thank you. Only on ATOT would I be called out for pics. At least I provided them. If had taken hi-def video someone would still find a problem.

I don't even want to know what her apartment or house is like if there are that many insects in her computer.

Anyone who knows anything about photography can instantly tell that you were holding the camera too close to the subject to get a good picture. You should have used the macro function. This is obvious.

I used to do service calls for IBM and I've seen bugs in computers also.

Downright disgusting humans. These people were usually dirty, greasy, smelly, their house was a mess, food laying all over the place. It was sickening. You wouldn't believe just how poorly some people maintain themselves and their belongings.

And don't get me started on the cat people. That seemed to be a common theme among the crazies out there. You walk into a house and all you smell is ammonia. This one woman had something like 19 cats in her house. I don't know what attracts loonies to cats but there's a coorelation there. Some of them even asked me if I was FBI.

It's not because your pictures are blurry; It's because your pictures are blurry and you tried to blame it on your batteries...If you had said, "Sorry the pictures are blurry. I'm not so good with macro shots," nobody would have given you any problems...

Well...maybe Nik... :p

I've seen bugs in systems too... not to the extent of this though (but it's hard to tell by the sh1tty pics). Stuff like this is where 'bugs in the system' came from.

I'm glad those pics were blurry.. didn't need to see a load of roaches. Hopefully you told her to clean the roaches herself or charged hazard pay :)

Try finding a dead rotting mouse someday. That happened to my friend at a computer store. I witnessed it. YUCK!

I think a neat trick would be to catch a racoon and put it in your computer case. Then bring it to CompUSA and tell them that you can't figure out why it keeps crashing and making weird noises.
